2019 UND Campus & Community Expo

Once again the University of North Dakota Student Involvement & Parent Programs Office is offering area businesses and nonprofit agencies an excellent opportunity to connect with students. The UND Campus & Community Expo is an open, walk-through event at which students have the opportunity to visit with UND departments, community businesses and nonprofit agencies. As students walk through the Campus & Community Expo, they can gather information about the services and opportunities available on campus and throughout the community. This annual event will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

The Expo takes place on the UND campus. Each registrant will be provided with one reserved table and two chairs. Electrical outlets and canopy spots are available, but only to a limited number of participants based on the date of registration. Set-up for the 2019 Expo will begin at 9:00am on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

You can gain a great deal of exposure for your business by taking part in the UND Campus & Community Expo. Because the focus of this event is to help students become familiar with UND and the Greater Grand Forks community, your business will not be able to sell merchandise/services, however, it is a great opportunity to advertise and offer samples of your products. Furthermore, we encourage your business to give away door prizes, vouchers, and coupons to the numerous new students who will take advantage of the UND Campus & Community Expo to become familiar with what the campus and community has to offer. However, no distributions or promotional items related to alcohol will be allowed.

Due to concerns with noise and space, and given that the UND Campus & Community Expo is held while classes are in session and near students' living locations, event participants will not be allowed to play amplified music/sounds during the event. In addition, in order to ensure that emergency vehicles have access in the event of a crisis, no vehicles will be allowed to park within the boundaries of the event location. Participants will also need to limit promotions to their booth space as bannering and other promotional items will not be allowed in other locations.
