Characteristics of Gifted/Talented Learners, T&L 2900

Examine the characteristics of G/T learners from diverse populations. These characteristics will be discussed within the frameworks of intellectual, leadership, academic, artistic, and creative abilities. Recognize the underlying social, emotional, and intellectual needs that drive GT behaviors and how these needs can also sequence developmental vulnerabilities. This understanding lays the foundation for appropriate identification, curriculum planning, and teaching of G/T students in the classroom.
